Advice

The only posts you appear to regard as acceptable are those that agree with you. That's not the idea of asking questions / seeking opinions on a forum I'm afraid!, and it is wasting time to come on and ask a question if any opinion at variance with yours is regarded as aggressive and rude.

None of the posts have been abusive and I think the posters have been pretty patient of you stamping your feet when people don't agree with you.

Its non of your business if she looks after some sheep and she doesnt have to get permission from her liveries, in her mind her yard is empty right now apart from 2 who remained during the winter.

She probably forgot the tap connector was broke and it just so happened she needed water for the sheep and remembered, you wouldnt have been able to get to the field shelter as the fields are shut off to rest. You do not get a reduction because of that.

Have you bothered speaking nicely to the YO about your concerns but more in a conversation way than a moaning way instead of winging with the other liveries. Summer will be here soon, breathe and smile.

...I'll say it again, I'VE TAKEN ON BOARD THAT THE SHEEP WILL BE ADVANTAGEOUS and she's not the YO or YM ( possibly yard manager by default)...

Yes, everyone is entitled the their opinion but some on here have been quite kirt, I haven't ... Yes I've favored the more supportive comments and not the derogatory comments, that's not abnormal ...

Its seems that the advice I wanted has put a few noses out of joint just like us on the yard...

When a yard as ran smoothly and everyone mucks in then sometimes changes can be a bit hard to swallow...I'm learning to live with it, so yes I have taken on board advice but will not be made to feel like that I shouldn't have asked for advice with some of the feed back...

Its human nature to favour positives than negatives...

Nope...I'm just not into being bullied on here that is all...

I don't understand some of the responses here.

OP rents land for grazing. The owner (YO) wants the land to rest and suggests all liveries rent another field but continue to pay for both, the new rented field and the grazing they have not got.

A whopping 57% increase.

So, how many of you would be happy to pay livery as usual but be asked to pay a significant increase to graze somewhere else ?

My livery is £54 for 2 horses per week.

I would not be happy to be suddenly charged an extra 57% to make it £84.

As the person you deal with is a mwte money collector, I would merely do as you pleases, op. As they have no authority to tell you otherwise...

I don't understand why the yard you are on would be charging for you to go to another field that you said belonged to someone else? You're renting off one person or another, if you move you shouldn't have to pay to stay at the other one.

I haven't read this whole thing as I don't have all year, but the sheep are a good thing for everyone at your yard which you seem to realise by now. I would definitely have sheep on mine given the chance (not allowed) so I don't blame the YO for offering to help.

That was one of the reasons I chose to stay as didn't want to pay extra for grazing to someone else ...

...Accepted :)

It was advice I was seeking, not to be called a petulant child...Being wrapped up in myself...Move off the yard ... Can't reason with stupid...I do worry about some people....I'd say they were pretty personal!

They have been some very supportive posts that took the time to think about what I was saying of which I thank them...

they are not personal attacks, they are peoples opinions given the situation, which I feel you have blown so wildly out of proportion I can only assume you are extremely self centred. I would suggest you move yards based on all the complaints you have listed in this thread, but please dont move to Lincolnshire.
