advice

hello is there any one that can give me advice on my cob as he won,t lift his feet up i have only had him four weeks and he is nearly three the last person that had him has not done much with him all he was with them was tired up and feed he is a full male as i am trying to get his trust and getting the things done that should be done it is heard work as i keep trying each day but no luck and he will need his feet trimmed soon

if im understanding right hes a colt? get the vet to come and geld him and have the trim at the same time then youve got more time til hes due again to practice lifting his feet

thanks for that i will take your advice yes he is a colt but he is very gentle and he dose not kick

Are you planning on keeping him entire and using him as a stallion . If not please get him gelded ASAP. With picking his feet up nothing but time and patience I'm afraid, he may just be testing you since he's new so perservere with him and make sure the farrier you use is nice and patient too.
