i was loaning a beautiful 16.1 thoroughbred cross but i had to let him go 2weeks agobecause the owner kept lieing to me and then she put him up for sale and did not tell me but the other day i was missing him soo much i was gonna ask for him back his field is at the side of the main road and my mum told me today that the owner had told her at college that he had got out of his feild and on to the main road and he got hit by a car and had to be put down yesterday ino he wont mine and i dint have him for long but i loved him and i just dont know wat to do with myself i dont even know if i belive her because off all the lies she has told me b4 please someone give me some advice
 
Can you go to the field and see if he's still there?
Or is there anyone you can trust who can tell you what realy happened?
Sorry i don't know what else to suggest.
 
as i say i dont even know if she is lieing she has lied so many times before and i still have his tack in my garage and i spent 2hours thinking about him he was amazing never put a foot wrong and his field was perfectly sucure and there was mounds and the front next to the road i just dont know how he got out he cud have jumped it coz he is a hunter/showjumper but i think sombody let him out he was beutiful thanks i have been looking for a new horse but there is nothing for loan in my area i have just been offerd a job at a private yard and either payment of a free livery i am just trying to find a new horse but there is nowt where i live

QR. You would probably be able to find out through the police if there had been an RTA involving a horse, but even if it is'nt true i would advise you to move on, something will come up for loan soon i am sure. Good luck.

I'm so sorry to hear that you are being put through this by the horses owner. It sounds like they are basically a nasty piece of work.I don't know how people can carry on like this telling you,even if you did have him only a short time. that the horse is dead if it weren't true.If this is the case you really do need to walk away and keep looking for a new horse and make sure you tell everyone what a liar this person is.
 
When the poor girl is obviously distressed is it really necessary to correct her spelling and grammer, I for one am not a good speller and think it is a little harsh to side track the actual point of the post and just laugh at her grammer!

Its a really hard situation to be put in and i think the only thing you can do is either try and find someone who can tell you what really happened or as hard as it is move on a keep looking for another horse that you can give really lovely home to x hugs x

Some people really are sad aren't they! Idiots springs to mind.
Dont worry hun, I personally would go and see if he is in the field just for piece of mind, but just take your time a horse will come up for you x

im with you on this one, i have a loan horse and would be devesated in this situation, and the last thing i would be thinking about is my spelling, this poor girl has asked for advice on the horse, not her spelling!
good luck in finding out about the horse, and I hope things work out for you.
 
aaaah yeah agree with the others have a look in the field see if you can see him, ask around. Phone up the local police station as they would know if something like this really had happened. Can't really offer any new advice though as like the others said regardless of whether it's true or not sounds like you don't want to be involved with this owner anyway!! Where have you been looking for a new loan horse?
 
Poor you. I too recomend you go and look in the field. If you are starting a new job at a yard it may be that someone there may be looking for a sharer or knows of something to loan Word of mouth is a brilliant thing. All good things (and horses) come to those who wait .
