Advise on cost

How much would expect to pay a BHS AI to hack/school a horse per hour. They would have to tack horse up and exercise, 3 horses in all so 3 hours ???? She charges £25 per hour for instructing, would it be less for riding ???

Why would it be less for riding? £25/hr sounds very reasonable indeed to me.

I would expect to pay the same amount as she charges for giving a lesson.

I do know a few people who charge a bit less for riding, but that is if the riding is flexible time-wise (i.e they can go around other lessons so never lose any business)- I have a couple of friends who work that way. It suits them as they can plan their days more efficiently.

Def the same, but each horse will get around 45mins, to allow time for tacking/untacking etc.

I am actually the instructor, but didnt want to charge too much, just found out that one has just been broken in, so think I will stick to £25,
will be at the yard on my own as owner at work. Its a 20 mile round trip journey so with riding 3, tacking up etc, probably be there for 4 hours

I pay for 'time' regardless of riding, instructing, clipping etc. I am paying for the experience so no change in price for me
