Come to the conclusion there are way too many Chablis Z's - Zangersheide have a mare and also the Chablis I Z stallion who is a 5 yr old and of slightly different breeding, and then there is this boy!
i attended both gradings looking for a stallion for use next year. The horse you mentioned didnt fail the SHB grading!! i was told he was lame due to an over reach and was pulled out as told by the steward on the gate but did not fail and has been invited back in the spring. He did look very good at both gradings ...as he did pass the AES, he went beautifully on the loose jumping and the judges liked him very much.... so will keep an eye out for this one next year. Number 8 was a beautiful stallion at the AES and certainly deserved to pass as well.
Chablis I Z and Chablis Z are NOT the same stallions. Chablis I Z (Corrado x Calando I x Landgraf x Calypso) is owned by Zangersheide, his semen is available in the UK both fresh and frozen.
