I finally got to a show yesterday.

Good friends helped with me scrub Stinky boy up (and he looked great) and on the day came to the show and did all the final preparation so all I had to do was put on my show clothes and take him in his class.

Best of all, he won it and I got my Trailblazers qualifier card.

When I was in hospital, having two operations and so many needles stuck in me I feel like a pin cushion, the thought of getting back out with Stinky kept me going and although after the class I spent the rest of the day having to rest, (my energy levels are low) I was so happy I could burst.

5 more chemo sessions to go and then onto the championship finals at the end of July and praying that I will have some energy back by then.

Brilliant news! I had been wondering how you were getting on. It just shows what teamwork can achieve.
All the best for the remainder of your treatment and for the Trailblazers final.

well done, what a fantastic result after everything you have been through, you still kicked backside and won :D Well done to your lovely friends too, they sound fantastic. Hope the next lot of treatment doesn't take it out of you too much, and you can go and show off your gorgeous boy at trailblazers x

*hugs* for being a human pin cushion!...ouch

but lovely news, keep it the high spirits up Mrs and all the best for the championship :)

we need pics though next time! :(:p

Thanks folks, having your nice replies is really good when you are not 100%. Just had a blood test and my bloods came back showing that my bone marrow is working hard and my blood is ok - more chemo next week.

No pics - as usual Stinky has his ears back when trying to take a photo so I bought one of the teens on the yard taking him in the young handler class for her, but left ones of me with him as none were that special.

I will have ones of the championships, just to show you my bald eagle look - I give my hair a tug every day, so far it is staying put, but it is only a matter of time before I do a autumn tree impression.

That's great news, I often think about you and wonder how you're getting on! Really hope you feel better soon and that your chemo sessions fly by. Keep setting those goals and updating us.
