After seeing those photo's I drove up yesterday & ended up bringing her home. Nearly came home with the Cav as well & even liked the 6mth old Springer, but he is male & I wanted a bitch. She was born 28 Aug so is about 5mths old, & her reg name is Kenmillix Cupid of Colorado, though we call her Gem. She is a real sweat heart, & hopefully she will soon get used to the very large dogs!! Anyone interested in a 6mth male, microchipped innoc etc or a Cav pm me & I will forward details.

I wondered if another Kinmillix prefix would surface, the breeder is based nr Lutterworth. The other dog they had is also from there, but different lines. Wonder is yours is the same breeder??

PS KJFIT meant to say luv your dogs, we used to have a Ridgeback, not as red as yours (which I prefer), but we only had him to rehome as my friend died & we did not have the time for a dog then. Does yours go off hunting?

[/ QUOTE ]LOL - nope as mine is a Rhodesian Ridgeback!!

Kenmillix is a prefix that is used for breeders that haven't registered a stud name with the KC... e.g my boy is out of the Veldtkammer Ridgeback bloodlines.. however my breeder (not the Veltdkammer stud - although he had a Veldtkammer dog) having not paid the KC to give him a 'stud name' woudl automatically be given a prefix from the KC - I guess last year/augusts was Kenmillix, as that is when Finny was born too!!

That's interesting as Gem was born 28 Aug so that would explaine it. You learn something new every day, thanks

Beautiful Springer!! Thats interesting about the prefix. My Hungarian Vizsla was born last year and is called Kenmillix Taffeta!!!

Thanks everyone, she had her 1st weekend at the yard & I think she was a little overwhelmed by it all. My daughter went out shopping & she now has a "Pink" colar with diamonds!! euk, & a pink bed. Typical of the 14yr olds, everything is either pink or purple!
