After effect of using a twitch

On Saturday I had to use a sedative and a twitch on my horse so that I could clip her, today she appears to have some rainscald type lumps on her muzzle, could this be an after effect of using the twitch, could she possibly be allergic to the shavings I am using for her bed - she has been on these for 4 weeks or could it be something else. She has never had this problem before and it looks quite unsightly.

I would appreciate your views
 
If the scabs are in a ring where the twitch rope would have been then I'd say defo from the twitch. There's an art to it - not too tight and not for more than 15 - 20 mins at a time max.
 
it will be the twitch mark my boy had to have bloods taken but i had to have a twitch on coz he hates needles the day later he had like scabes over his muzzle apply some sudacream over it twice a day for a few days they will soon disapear!
