After my rant about farriers....

i have now decided that there are some very very very very very good farriers out there

TheFarrier came out today and was so so helpful- unlike my last farrier. instead of just banging in the nails, he actually told me what he was doing etc. etc. just soo helpful. apparently my horse does not have a corn, so dont know what was wrong with him but is now not lame. now barney and caludia have a new set of shoes

My farrier is a treasure! He does a lovely job of all my mob, he's punctual and friendly - returns calls and when I phone him to let him know I have a lame horse he comes out the next day to rumage for an abscess - and he doesn't charge me for that.

I make him Bacon sandwiches as he always does my horses at 7am.
