Boots got it wrong!!!

After taking Chantins prescription to Boots chemist and paying £42 for the privilidge, I got a letter through the post saying they were sorry, but they had overcharged me by £34.80, so heres a gift card with £35 on it as a refund. If I want my money back by the way I paid I can go in with my receipt and get that instead.

So the prescription thing isnt that bad after all

, and it wont cost me £42 each time my vet gives me the prescription.
Now all im waiting on is the blood results and Chantin getting better.
Maybe this is the start of my good luck?

so did I but as I have never had a horse prescription to take to the chemist I thought it must be right. The chemist sounded very knowledgeable, even to the point of getting the drug book out and finding the price for 1 tablet to work the price out for me

Great,mine had a rash come up on his shoulder.I put some aloe vera on it and today it is pimply but calmer. Interesting that you can get a vet prescription and take it to Boots, I never knew that.

ive had a look at the lumps/bumps tonight and for 1 patch ive put some aloe gel on - will see how it looks compared to the others tomorrow.

I didnt know you could collect them from any chemist, but will probably work out a hell of a lot cheaper than buying that quantity from the vet

I was curious to know what the vet had prescribed - did you actually saying your post? I take my vet's prescription to the chemist's as I refuse to pay the price the vet wants to charge for one essential drug.
