Thank you every one. I have decided to turn him away (will look after feathers and mane and tail) until March! Bring on a muddy baby trad!! :-)

Of course, now what you have to do is post us a picture in all his showing 'glossiness' and then in a few weeks - a big fat muddy one!!:D:D
 
If you have access to a 1 acre barked area then that could be quite useful if you did need to restrict the grazing

Yerh Its fab! He is is there currently with his podgy welshie friend in the evenings with hay. Once my mare is off box rest (november time) Ill open the whole thing up, and if needs be shut him in :) and Thank you, I cant wait for next year!
