against?

I don't need parelli techinques to have great working relationships with the horses here so for me personally it's simply totally necessary.
But the Catwalk incident ( which I watched after reading a thread on here ) Horrified me it was inappropriate on so many levels really opened my eyes to a potentially much darker side to it all.
I hate gurus in all forms there's no place for closed minds in horsemanship and the parelli our way or no way is something I hate , but I hate the hype I hate the marketing I was gobsmacked to read about the withholding water techniques ,I just have no interest in any system in which that has a place.

Years ago I was well disposed to Parelli having had a friend whose opinion I respected, say she had seen a demo and was converted. Completely changed my mind after the Catwalk incident. Simply do not want anything to do with a philosophy that could condone that treatment.

Having paid £400 for some gucci pizza boxes a few leaflets with some sketches in and a few poorly explained DVD's. Back in the day when I, like so many people out there, had bought my first horse and bit off more than I could chew. I can whole heartedly say "what a *******g rip off, better off spending your hard earned cash on a decent instructor
