As both BD and BSJA award points/£s automatically to imported horses should these point be used in adverts for this horse either for sale or in the case of a standing stallion?

Yes - why not it's quite easy to check up what a horse has actually done. Even if a horse has won a few grand I would still check its record to see how recent it was and what classes it has been jumping. A Grade A with £5k onits card might never have jumped above 1.15 quite easily. Its all about buyer beware.

I see your point, but with so many buyers/stallion viewers out there who don't check and don't understand it could be seen as a bit cheeky, however if they admit when asked about the winnings I don't see a problem!

At least you would know what classes you can enter before you go to see the horse. But yes if you don't know about it, it can be exploited to make a horse look good
