could anyone explain how the 5 year old classes work - whats the height? what are the courses like? is it open to any horses? do you qualify for anything? any other info please?

Regarding BSJA age classes? I'll assume it is BSJA, age classes are run as far as I know in 2 sections, British bread and non British bread, Heights for the qualifying classes are 1.15m and for the final should you qualify it then goes up to 1.20m.

Isnt that just for Addington?
There isnt any major 5 year old classes, the biggest being the SCOPE class I think, which is 1.15. The major age classes are 6 & 7 which go to hoys.
Lots of shows have their own 5 year old qualifiers and championships though, which are usually about 1.10.
