Aghhh - Bit Guards....

After finding a bit I am happy to SJ in I have been trying to put bit guards onto it

How do you get them onto a 3 ring gag?

put em in hot water for a few mins, then grab 2 pieces of baler twine and stretch them out (need a helper for this!) and wiggle the bit round as per needed to get them on

Hot water and i use my bridle hook in the tack room!!
Or get my Dad to do it

Good old baler twine!! Two pieces, one looped round my foot and the other end in my hand! Works for even the three ringed dutch gags.

or you can buy the 'ezzee' bit guards, and they just slide on! really simple, even on my 2 ring gag!
