One of the agility clubs that I belong to is going to be the beta test of a trial here is Sept. The trial opens tomorrow. I put my entry in my mailbox to go out with today's mail. We had no mail delivery/pick up today totally random. I'm crushed. I didn't realize how much I'm looking forward to going to a trial even if it won't be like old times.
First world problems I know.

I so miss going to my training and comps.
I had already plugged flyball dates in, penciled agility comps around that and had tentative plans for Miss Collie's debut. Its so depressing seeing them flash up at weekends.
? are you able to train at least? I don't think I'll be doing anything related until September.
Toying with ideas of 1-1 agility training but Mrs Spaniel can be hit and miss with what she wants to do agility wise and I'm not sure Miss Collie is in the right mindset yet for them either. ?

How frustrating. All our agility entries are online , although still with a closing date, you just have to remember to press the final submit button. Pickle had his first agility training last night since early March, sod's law it was pouring down but we both enjoyed it.

We've been taking private lessons. I'm off on Wednesdays so we take our lessons then. We have one this afternoon. Right now they're only having minimal people in the building and only staff touches equipment.

I did hear from the trial chair that we may still get in since there is a big trial on the same weekend in NC. She thinks a lot of people will go there since that trial is having all of the classes and the local one is only standard and JWW.

I wonder how it will work for our online entries if shows open but with restricted numbers - if it's anything like the scramble to refresh the page to book camping for the International Agility Festival it'll be a nightmare. ?

We've been back at training for a few weeks but as our usual venue is an indoor equestrian arena we've had to find an outdoor alternative. At least being outside on grass with distractions is good practice for when shows start again. We've had a few one to ones as well in a different outdoor venue, so he should be really well versed in resisting sniffs by the time we get back to competition!

We were at a new outdoor venue last night , I’m sure you can imagine the sniffing that went on with a certain little dog ?

I was surprised that the local trial wasn't only line entries only. We have a fair number of trials where I train which is nice since it is 15 minutes from home.

Had a make up lesson with the baby tonight. The place where I train is planning some UKI trials. No mask apparently equals losing your ability to play UKI agility forever.
