So we finally got a backman and i couldt of been more pleased with him!
asked why we wanted him asked about the fall watched me ride ....
watch very closey i got a bit panicy he look like as if she has some serious health problem  told me that her pelvis is too big and then her back legs are too close together that is making her unbalanced so getting a nice outline is going to be doubly hard  said i was a good little rider and my legs dont move but i breathe to swallow and need to sit back a bit  :o but we can work on that, then did loads of touching ect and checking her back , she she was VERY flexi :p and her back can come up even showed me so it is possible to get an outline
did some work on her hips as she only will use on leg underneeth her probally then the other one gets half way then twists her muscle? and pulls it round like that
she also has a bit of a twisted foot but its not from the knee so its ok
and her back side bones havent been effect by her arthiritis! :D

Soo its all good :p
chips and coke for all that read :p

Well done for getting someone to come and look at her for you. That's a really caring, responsible thing to do. Take the back man's advice with workload and you'll do great.

Sounds like you've got a lot of positive things to work on. Good for you! I had a back lady out to my boys a couple of weeks ago and I couldn't have been more pleased.

It's nice to know you've done something nice/useful for your horse isn't it?

:):)

hmm nope he said she wont do well in dressage as the way her pelvis adn back legs are :/ so meh :/
yeah its very nice :D good to know shes alright too :) lol
and think it was £70 :) x

Oh no, well dont stop with the plans for the schooling lunging ect. as it will help her jumping and you want as stong as muscles as poss to help her jump. :)

That is a lot but I've paid £90 before now  got a bit sucked in on that one!!

I pay £45 for Gavin Schofield and £30 for my inbetween lady if we have any problems inbetween Gavin coming. But I do have them regularly so very little to do each time :D

Well done for getting him out, its always a comfort when you know they have been checked out xxx

well my YO said the fall wasnt nothing to some shes seen and the reason ebs wasnt jumping right as this girl that im not naming is VERY unbalanced and doesnt ride ebs into fences just sits there thats why ebs didt look good?
Yeah i dont mind paying that he was great :p x

really?
he did loads asked questions then watched me ride see if he could seen any problems under saddle ooh also watched me tack up to see if there was any problems there then did some checking for flex in legs and then explain everything and took about 2 hours :p x

Nice to hear all is well :D
I've the back woman coming Friday for my daughters pony, hopefully she'll also get the all clear. I'm surprised people are paying £90, but I guess it depends on where in the UK you are. Its £40 here, and well worth it for the peace of mind x
