Have been racking my brains for half hour trying to remember what the problem was called so hopefully hho's edt can help me?
She has on abnormally long tooth that has worn away the tooth above causing her jaw to lock when it closes, she cant chew properly and the edt confirmed what we thought .. its a problem since she was v young, and shes never had her teeth looked at!
10 years of pain for my poor pony

!! Ive only had her a few months and edt confirmed again that the issues ive had with her longreining is from pain again

She cannot go on the bit without extreame pain, and has temple somthing pain, when shes pressed in that particular area she flinches away.
All i know is its gonna need to be done with electric tools and is gonna cost £150 + , and she needs to be sedated

first of all- well done for finding out what was wrong
2nd - sorry for the result

3rd - Its always going to be worth getting it sorted, being a veterinary problem, id check with insurance as they may cover it!

4th - maybe whilst u are working her before its sorted, maybe try a bitless bridle or something? if you have one available?
Or just lunge on a headcollar and stuff?

GOOD LUCK VIBES PONY!
