Ahhh BE! Day ticket and passport mishaps

Registered a month ago for a day ticket for BE80T at Bold Heath. Due to run on Sunday.

BE accepted payment etc, sent off scans of pony's passport. However it seems these got lost somewhere on the way as we got an email today at quarter to 5 that they hadn't recieved the passport and we would be unable to compete if they didn't get them.

Am I right to assume that the office isn't open tomorrow? We picked up the email later than 5 and assumed they were closed, sent scans off anyway.

There were a few emails exchanged including one in which mum said 'I have sent the scans, so does that mean I don't have to send the passport to you?' and the reply back was 'no you don't have to send the passport.' They could have said then they didn't have the scans? It's been a whole month! Ahhh.

Is there anything we can do? We were going up tomorrow to walk the course, can we go to the secretary with passport and emails and explain? Surely they must be in contact with someone at BE and they could check the email?

I'm just absolutely gutted that we might not be able to run, so disappointed :(
 
Did they know you were due to compete on Sunday? They haven't given you much time to sort it have they!

Try not to panic, just make sure you take everything with you on Sunday. If you want to be extra cautious maybe speak to the went secretary to explain?
