Ahhhh Horsemart is so annoying!

Does anyone know if there is a way that you can filter on Horsemart so you only see the newest added adverts like it used to be rather than when you select view by newest and all that comes up now are the same adverts from Kent horse producers, willow sports horses and a few others. I don't want to repeatedly keep looking at these dealers adverts page after page! It's making my horse shopping difficult. Can't believe Horsemart don't realise that these tactics of pushing their few top dealers horses all the time is actually putting people off using their website.

I'm about to advertise (trade) in horsemart and have been chatting to admin, I will pass your comments on to make them aware of the problem and see if there's a solution that you have overlooked. Oz

Thanks! Am guessing if you are trade then it must be irritating for you too - you pay all the money for the advert for it to end up really far down the page as the few dealers they promote are always at the top. I know I wouldn't be very happy!

Can't you filter private/trade? I can't remember if that's HM or not now...

Ooo BDC thats a good idea. The irritating thing is I'm not against buying from a trade person but the new format is just so ridiculous. Tbh I might just focus on horsequest and horse and hound instead now!

You're welcome keenjean, yes I am in the trade as a saddler.I suppose it's how much you pay them to advertise as to whether or not you'll get your adverts seen!
I have heard back from the lady dealing with my adverts, she has thanked me (you) for bringing this problem to their attention and has passed my email on to her manager to see what he says.
If they change the system, it might mean my product I'm trying to sell/promote might just be seen as much as the dealers adverts!

When I was looking I found this so anooying that I stopped looking on the Horsemart site altogether.

Annoying I agree but at least those adverts are upfront its also full of so called private sellers who are really dealers and dodge all legal obligations.

I found the trade advertising really annoying too, but you can definately filter out the tarde adverts by one of the tabs running down the side
