AI Technician Course?

I have a strong interest in breeding and have started my own breeding operations this year. I’m interested in doing an AI technician course but with view of inseminating my own mates in future. However, with only vets being able to ultrasound is it really worth it?

will you have your own stallion? if so i'd definitely say yes, i tease my own mares, inseminate and then generally scan around day 19, so only scan for pregnancy if they haven't started to show back in season. keeps vet bills down to a real minimum and means there's a bit more money in the pot for the odd tricky mare, helps balance the books a bit lol.
