Already got the aigle parcours iso 2 which I love. They are going onto the 5th winter and are starting to perish slightly. I do find them a bit warm. Anyone had the iso 2 & vario? Are the vario version much different other than warmth?
thanks 😊

I need to replace my parlours iso 2 but not sure what to do as they are simply the best. The first pair l had lasted nearly ten years and current ones must be at least eight. I moved them to the ‘alternative’ boots and bought muck boots and a cheaper non branded pair but they simply don’t do the same job so the aisles are back in use whilst l try and fine some sale ones. I think the price has at least doubled since l bought the original pair. Also recently bought le chameau lighter weight ones but the fit is completely different and would be too narrow for long term use.

Are the vario the neoprene lined ones? I have those. They can be a bit sweaty unless it's cold outside but I tend not to wear them in the summer so I get away with it most of the time.

I'm another who's on my second pair. My first pair lasted 9 years and the second are about to go into their 4th winter and still look like new. I still have the old ones as emergency wellies for when I call into the yard unexpectedly and even thought the rubber on the outside has cracked, the neoprene lining means they're still waterproof for occasional use. They're expensive but excellent value for money if that makes sense.

For those who've had them not last- I had some last year that broke down withjn the year and aigle were very good about refunding them as they were in warranty- if you have the receipts it's worth contacting aigle to see if they can refund/replace- I had to send mine in so hopefully they might look into what went wrong.
My first pair lasted well given the hammering they took and I'm inclined to get the same this year as they are so comfy & customer services were easy to deal with for the last pair.

I had one pair which lasted for years but their replacement developed a split where the sole was joined to the boot after just over a year. I was very disappointed as I assumed they’d be out of warranty but I got in touch with Aigle customer services to let them know the quality had gone downhill. They sent me a new pair without a quibble and these have now done 3 years so far with no problems. Definitely worth getting in touch if they’ve not lasted as long as they should.

Mines are going into 5th winter & starting to perish although still waterproof. I don't know what to buy next.

I find them really comfortable but they barely last a year for me, so I don't know why I keep buying them!

I do drive in them and have skinny legs and they go where they have to bend. But still, I must find something cheaper but I need a really good footed.
