What are your equine aims for the summer? Mine are to get over Oscar's napping, get him out atleast once every two weeks and have more fun. Would like to think that I would have done some cross country, dressage and a bit of showjumping and maybe a novice working hunter!

Also have to find Ty a good home once his hocks have been diagnosed

So what are your aims?

to do mine and pickles first ever schooling session away from our yard, have a go at some XC possibly a few hunter trials.

Also to take pickle on some lovely long hacks with a saddle bag packed with lunch.

1. To send back lame loan horse / find her an alternative home since owner doesn't want her.
2. Find another horse that I can ride (going to look at one on Saturday).
3. Take 3 year old to the Futurity in August.
4. Have foal graded in September.

Pretty much it really

its actually a huge thing for me and pickle thinking he petrified me hacking countless times.

Mine are to get a clear round s.jumping at 2'9'' - not huge, I know, but even the decent rounds T has decided he can't be bothered to pick up for at least one jump!
Do at least one showing class where we don't disgrace ourselves and I get to show off how gorgeous my ponio is.
Do a bit more dressage as I've found we're quite good at it and really enjoy it.
Am aiming to do a bit mor bareback coz I love it! I already do a bit of schooling and hacking and it's really helped my balance.
Enjoy the summer and love having my own horse!

To continue last year's success with my confidence, and to have loads of fun with him before I go uni, when I'll only see him at weekends.

To have weekly lessons through August and September.

To get him nice and fit so my cousin can take him hunting.

Have a season of hunting
Get my confidence back for jumping
Do some WH classes
And maybe try a non canter test dressage. I have a bad memory though!

to do some more novice showing classes and some dressage with moses, my ultimate aim?? to gallop in front of the granstand at the royal welsh!!!

1) have a calm horse at county shows and get placed in wh
2) go clear novice xc (about to move up)
3)to do well in comp in south africa
4)to do pc open area trials and go to the champs

not much is it?

oh and to top it all off I want to do the CCI* in september...

but the most of all important goal is to have a sound horse by the end!

Do some BE Novices on Katy and James, hopefully give them some really good experience, a few rosettes and points would be lovely too. keep improving their flatwork, do lots of bsja practise. keep improving my riding.
Back my 2 3-yr-olds nicely and easily without getting launched into orbit off either of them.
Find lovely new loan/eventually buy homes for my big lad as a lovely hack, and the little DiMaggio mare for dressage.
i'd be over the moon if all that comes off!

Get sozzled and have lots of fun at RC camp end of the month
Get placed in some showing classes
Improve my marks in dressage

Get more sozzled imbetween on chilled chardonnay

get our flatwork better, do a couple of dressage classes.

get our jumping improved and maybe join BSJA.

go xc schooling as we havn't been together, previous owners had him over 1m10 xc courses.

go to alot of shows, not big ones, just for fun days out with friend.

hack out alot.

generally improve.

pony club summer camp!

gonna have a fantastic summer!
hope u all do aswell

xx

To get ponio going well enough to sell in the autumn
To get horse to stop napping and being evasive
To stop being a wuss and start jumping properly again
smile.gif

To get the Appy going forwards more often than she goes backwards!
Maybe actually enter some of the classes at our RC show and maybe the points shows as well. Also to ride out in the evenings after work.

To get out with Dozzie to do some dressage and do well. Hopefully get 65% but she needs to be stronger in her canter. I also think i need some lessons on a schoolmaster to help with some movements as i am not sure whether it is me being a crap rider or horse being difficult!! LOL!!! Probably a bit of both!

Mine are to have fun, and save some money by not going to all the BE events I would normally do, I have actually found that I can afford to go out each weekend somewhere local to do 2 or 3 classes, and its much cheaper. Granted there isn't the big adrenalin rush, but bring on the pointing season and we will be off again!!

I'd like to -

Continue to do a showing show every 3 weeks.

Have a few more lunge lessons to improve my position in canter.

Box up and go and ride in my friend's school.

Go to Highland Pony camp in September. I've got my place booked!

Same as you PR...so a good job we are doing alot of it together! LOL!

I also want to sort my jumping out again and do a discovery by August,...but going to have a summer of showing, so we will see how it goes. LOL.

My aims for this summer is formy youngster to be going well enough to attend a 4 day training weekend at the end of august and for her to be comepeteing at prelim level dressage by the end of september.

My aim is to get placed at a BE Intro.
Then my aim is to move up to PN at the end of the season.

And also to complete my first go at PC Intermediate eventing without killing myself! It's in 12 days and I'm already nervous!
