Aintree Report.

Went show-jumping at Aintree again yesterday to do the 2'9ft and 3'3ft unaff. Havn't jumped for two weeks, so wasn't expecting great things lol

Anway, after about 45 minutes of loading her, she finally walked in and off we went. Luckily they were running late again so we were early despite traffic jams etc!
Warmed up for the 2'9ft and she was quite strong and excited, although didn't look it on the vids

Went in and went clear, despite appalling riding from the numpty on board

Went clear again in the jump off and came 2nd and won £6

Then warmed up for the 3'3ft, much less strong and did what would have been a lovely clear, had I not stupidly turned away from the last fence

Was soooo annoyed with myself, but Blu jumped really nicely, if a little hesitant at the water tray

Walked into the trailer after 5 minutes aswell

Well done! I was running late wasnt it? The first senior class didnt start till 5!

I was there yesterday aswell. I took my 4 year old for the clear round and the 75cm.
 
I went too. Took Emerald for the CR he was warming up really well, and then tweaked his back. We went home and then went shopping, came back to Aintree with Sov and they were still doing the 75cms, so I entered that even though I wanted to do the 85cms, he was good but I made a hash of no 7 and we had it down, but was quite pleased, there is unaff jumping on Tuesday so will try and do 85 and 95cms then.
Well done though.
 
He jumped a lovely clear in the CR, and another clear in the 75cm, bless him it was only his second show ever! couldnt be bothered to stay for jump off.

fartarse2- i prob will have seen you, i was on the grey in my siggy, with a lorry load of 5 other horses!

P.S, what the scedule for tues??
 
Schedule for Tuesday is the same as Saturday, my theory being that if the 85/95 is on at the same time, I can do a full day at work then go! I must remember to lookout for you next time.
I called in before and at 6.30pm they were 1/2 way through the Newcomers there was 80 in the BN and 100 in the 1.05!!!!
And there was Bold Affiliated on too!!
 
Do you know what time it starts? I doubt it will be as busy as sat, but then i suppose it is half term. I am working, but i may try and get there for a class! So might see you there!

Yes bold was on, i went to bold last week and had a disaster!!lol!
