Well, after an hour of attemping to load the silly cow, we got there to find that they were still on the senior clear round!! So had plenty of time to get sorted and enter etc.

The arena is amazing - fab surface, and just generally a very well kept place! Entered the 75cm and 85cm, as I want to warm her up into her jumping again (we can't jump at the yard at the moment

).
Warmed up well for the 75cm, and went in and did a nice clear, not at all spooky at the windows and music etc. Did a very quick jump off, was listening really well and won it

Was incredibly pleased with her - second win in a row, and a very big class (there were about 20 jumping off!)

Warmed up for the 85cm nicely, and did another clear. There were about 25 jumping off, so after waiting around for a while went in and did another clear, ending up joint 3rd

So all in all a very good day, Blu was a superstar, I am so pleased with how she is at the moment, and won £14

Sorry for the essay - hopefully will put pics/vids up in the gallery later.
I would well recommend Aintree as well, just make sure you ring up to check how things are going!!

Thanks - it went on for ages, We left about quarter to 9ish I think, didn't have my tea until gone 10 o'clock! Worth it though

I'm desperate to go now to see this fantastic new arena but I really don't want to be leaving that late to travel 1.5 hours home then leave again for work at 6.45 the next morning! It might have to wait til I take a day off work on the Monday.

It would have been much earlier had the clear round been managed better. I could not fault it otherwise - well worth a trip when you have the time!

We've been twice - once for unaff. ponies and once, on Saturday for the Junior BSJA. Well impressed with the place and we didn't do badly, either!

Must be an 11/10 for its lorry park!

People moan about there being no canteen, but there's a smart enough looking indoor burgervan on site which does (and I am going to get shot for this) all the same fast food cr*p you get in a standard cafe. I'd settle for a cracking good venue and my own butties over a dump with it's own deep fat fryer! I'll never understand people who can't last for two minutes without some processed junk in a polystyrene carton

Well done!

I was some footage of someone jumping there, looks totally amazing! If only it was closer, reckon would take me 5hrs to get there!!

Hee Hee after having a job that deals with kitchen hygiene, I can assure you that I dont eat at many show venues!!! I usually only go for 1 or 2 classes, so a cup of coffee will suffice, and part of my BE prep includes making a picnic!
I have never really understood the people that want to go a show to eat chips
