Aintree Unaff Show Jumping

Well firstly I must eat humble pie! Was very dubious and suspicious of the whole place (because of the companies involved in its construction etc) but I have been to look at 2 seperate competitions and thought I would go there.
So Saturday morning, went down to have a look at the course and it was really busy so I went home and fetched Sov back with me (was intending to go later for the class) to trot round the clear round. I was very glad I did because his eyes were on sticks (he has never been to an indoor jumping show before!) I was really pleased he trotted round clear and got lovely rosette.
Went home and came back later for the 75cms and went clear again, and then had 2 down in the jump off (my fault, riding like a muppet!)
So all in all a good day and looking forward to the next one!

I went last week for BSJA. I was going to take my 4 year old there on sat for his first outing, but something came up. Might go to the next one tho. Glad you had a good day.

I was there watching the BSJA last weekend & wishing I had a horsey to take there! I think it's a fab venue

& the collecting ring looked much less hectic there than it did at Rosses this weekend.
