Air jackets

Ok guys, an interesting topic and lots of differing views. Thank you all. 😀😀 So at risk of causing some more discussion it seems the hit air has better neck protection but the P2 is equally as good depending on how comfortable you find the fit.
ooooh careful there 🤣

But yes, I would broadly agree with that. Just try a few on and see which one you like best.

According to the blurb on the HA website the gap at the top below the neck prevents recoil. And the neck inflation does prevent concussion which is great news for me. It is designed to decelerate the neck in the event of a fall, significantly reducing the possibility of hyper extension and whiplash apparently.

I was thrown into a fence at a gallop and hit my head pretty hard. Apparently i went at it sideways. So neck could have been wrenched pretty badly. But HitAir did its job and protected my neck so I got away with very mild concussion only. (Obviously replaced my hat after ).

My daughter has a point 2 , I have a hit air . Daughter used mine one day and fell off. She now only uses my hitair. She says it’s far superior and offers much better protection. She says she bounced in the hit air and didn’t feel a thing. Offers better neck and bum protection apparently
