Airflow / Breathable / Cool but protective horse boots?

Hi all, I'm looking for some really breathable / airflow boots that still offer strike protection. My mare can lark about on the lunge and I'm wary of her striking into her front tendons. I've tried Husk and wasn't impressed, they slid down very badly. Verdus piaffe boots fit well but are quite warm, Le Mieux snug boots disintegrated and I'd like more impact protection than brushing boots. She's a dressage horse but I'm happy to try boots for any discipline that are protective but keep the legs cool! Thanks!

How about the trizone sports boots? Or the PE event boots? Think they’re both supposed to be very breathable whilst also being protective.

I have some New Equine Wear airflow ones which have been pretty good, and were not expensive

This sounds so dim but I never thought to look for eventing boots ? have you tried either of these?

Yeah I have. haven’t tried the latest PE ones (which are almost certainly better than the ones I had 5 years ago, which I found pretty good!) I’ve not owned the trizone ones but a friend does and really rates them

yes, i did. Started using them last year during the heatwave and horse's legs were not sweaty, as had been in her lemieux boots i swapped from.

I have various xc boots air flow that would fit the bill - tri-zone, Premier Equine, 2 sets of Le Mieux. All are good, the best I would say are probably the New Equine Wear and very lightweight and breathable.

Another PE event boots recommendation.
dalmer racing boots are also nice, very light, decent strike protection and they stay cool.

We use these at work, maybe cheaper elsewhere!

I use the Trizone eventing boots in the paddock. I liked them for the fact they are lightweight, don’t hold water (great for winter) and have the four layer protection system. However I have found with a summer coat, the legs are getting a little bit rubbed on the back (the hair looks disheveled), as they obviously aren’t technically made for keeping on hours a day.

I keep an eye out on FB marketplace as have managed to get quite a few, basically new, half price on there.
