Airowear the shadow back protector

Anyone have one of these? Always wear a back protector when hacking and need a new one but couldn’t find many reviews or sizing reviews online for them.

I’m a size 14, the website says that would be an XL which is the biggest size so not sure if they run small or big! Anyone have one or know? ?

I got a cheap version from Ebay, I think it originated from Sports Direct and was for snowboarding or something. It is better for me as it only has straps other than the back portion, so no sweaty smell under the jacket.

It makes me LOL as it says "No Fear" on the back, which is kind of ironic as I only wear it if there is a little bit of fear present. LOL.

I'm not sure how much protection it actually offers?

I don’t have one, but imo they don’t provide a huge amount of protection compared to a traditional body protector.

If you’d rather go for a traditional one, I’d highly recommend a racesafe. Super light, free to move in and I forget it’s even on. Wouldn’t go near an Airowear again - SO uncomfortable.
