Has anyone had success with Airway Plus (Global herbs). Seems quite a concoction of ingredients, would love some input on effectiveness? Horse has had a cough the last few weeks, lives out 24/7 and has now been seen by a vet who couldn't find anything obvious and has offered a short dose of clenbuterol hydrochloride. Would like to have a supplement in mind to try and support through the worst of winter.

I used a liquid one on my old lad. He always had a weird snotty nose then one year had almost like an asthmatic episode or some sort of lung infection. He had ventipulmin course and after that I used airways plus in feed and an extra dose before riding. It definitely helped him. I tried it myself for the craic and it was like vix and I could breathe with 4 nostrils lol so it works.

I’ve not tried it sorry but have a look at Audevarde balsamic Air and control (liquid and pellets)
I use the Balsamic air for maintenance. It’s fairly cheap and easy to get hold of. Seems to do the job.

Stopped my pollen allergic mare from having a runny nose and from headshaking. Used it for 13 years and it never let me down. Liquid is more effective, so try that first.

We used to use the liquid version on old (now departed) horse who had mild COPD type symptoms. It seems to be really good at loosening phlegm. We put it in his feed and within minutes the snot would be running out of his nose.

The powder one did nothing for him, but it helped a friend's mare, so I think it must depend what the underlying issue is.

Thank you everyone, this has been super helpful. I did ask global herbs themselves yesterday and they suggested the liquid for upper respiratory and the powder for lower chesty coughs. Will give it a trial in hope bless him.
