Alalskan Malamute

Rodeisian Ridgebacks = To hunt Lions, if they can kill a lion, imagine what they could do to a person.....

[/ QUOTE ]

Well that's a bit over-dramatic and to be fair, Rhodesian Ridgebacks don't and were never used to kill lions. They hold their prey at bay until the hunter comes along and shoots the animal being hunted. RR's are actually very sociable and friendly dogs.

I should say, alot of hounds in America are used for tracking lynx and cougars, and baying on them, they are still one of the softest breed of dog!

Nasty, evil fox hounds hunt foxes, they're still unbelievably soft and I don't think there has ever been a case of them attacking a member of public!

P.s "Nasty, evil fox hounds hunt foxes"...was sarcastic!

I did actually change the statement.... to they were bred to ASSIST the hunter, more politically correct, blah blah... keep up dear!!

You probably think I am dim anyway but can I ask how that is more politically correct?

Surely if you allowed the dog(s) to kill the lion you would ruin the pelt and it would be prefably to boast that you had killed the lion rather than saying your dog had killed it?

1) I don't think you are dim

2) You can ask...but im not sure i can answer....so therefore i must be dim?!!

3) pass...next question!

4) i guess the sarcasm was lost in my last statement????

hey ho, happy new year anyhoo!!

There was a Malamute in my dog's obedience class and he was a nightmare, always barging, howling and unable to keep still. He was really friendly, though!

can you help me please . I have an alaskan malamute bitch . She is just coming up to two and I have not had her spayed. My problem is that every time she comes into season , she attacks my Westie . Has anyone had the same problem. She is also not eating as much and looks underweight ? Any suggestions

Spay her? If you're not breeding from her there is no need to make her entire.
The weight dropping and appetite loss is normal.

Oh and make a new post, it will get more views
