Hi everyone!

I’ve recently been fitted an Albion K2 jump saddle. Has anyone has any experience of the saddle putting you into a chair seat position?

I’ve noticed in the videos of me jumping that I seem to be in a chair seat and almost catch the back of the saddle when landing off a jump. I also do flat work in this saddle and notice that I seem to tip forward slightly and my heels are slightly out in front.

I’ve had the saddler out twice to look at it but they seem to think it’s fine. Is there anything I can do to help me get my heels underneath me a bit more.

I’ve posted a few screenshots of a video for reference.

I can’t really afford another saddle right now so I might just have to cope but if anyone has any tips I’d be very grateful!

I know instantly when I'm in a K2 as my position goes out the window.

Have a feeling they're a love/hate saddle design, especially if you're tall or long thighed.

It’s so frustrating! I’m not even that tall but I must have a long thigh or sometbing. I love the secure feel the saddle gives me but it throws my position out. I can’t afford to buy another one which is really annoying, so I’m trying persevere for now :(

Some saddles are indeed more likely to put rislders in a chair seat but it's still individual. The longer your femur and the smaller your foot the more likely. Albions are not known for being particularly great at putting riders more over their feet.
