I'm looking at second hand Albion saddles and don't understand the variations.
Some have an interchangeable gullet plate eg K2 legend, but not many K2 legends have that.
Is K2 the style of saddle, Legend the shape of the tree, and then it may be fixed width, changeable gullet - or adjusta?
The adjusta can be adjusted in the workshop but they are sold with a width - so how much can they be adjusted? If you had a MW could it go down to M and upto W?

I'm also looking at the SL which has less variations - I think?

Best of luck. I gave up trying to work out which trees were in the make of saddles I was interested in. If you have the saddle serial number you could try asking Albion.

Best to ask Albion. I had one (adjusta) but it was never going to be adjusted to fit as it had a flat tree. Only found that out by contacting Albion. He's now in a curved tree. I was never told by any saddler we saw that they are a flat tree, I was only told the adjusta could be made wider or narrower by one fitting (I think - never used that option) . I still don't know if they are all flat or you can choose because I moved into a different make of saddle.

I think that depends on your definition of flat, it's all relative to the company, and then to how the fitter judges it too. I find it's often panels that are too flat rather than trees, or they're too long or too narrow.
