For those who have this bridle, could you give me an idea on whether they are largeish or not?

Currently horse has a Kieffer Ergonomic II in Full and its on the top holes except for the noseband which is a bit tight (cob would have been better but the nnoseband wouldnt do up at all). Also has a full size Jeffries 'IR' Bridle which came up a bit big. Wondering whether to get the KB in full or cob?

Horse is 15.2hh TB x Arab - thanks

I would have thought you would be ok with Cob, I had to go for the Warmblood size which is pretty much the same as full cheek piece wise but just has a bigger noseband, browband and throat lash. I had to have the throat lash made smaller.
My boy has a long face but the cheek pieces are still only a few holes from the top.

I'll PM you another suggestion!

Thanks for your replies.

I think I will get the Full size (only because I couldn't help myself and ordered it last night before I read these posts!)

If there is no real difference with the headtsall and cheekpieces then I think I will need the slightly bigger noseband as he seems to be wide around the jaw. I am so tempted now to also order a cob size in case it doesn't fit but knowing me I would never get round to returning it so it would sit in the tackroom on the off chance that it would fit something someday.

I don't think they come up very large - I think you'll be fine with Full.

My 16.1hh Selle Francais who has a fairly slender head has the Full size and 17.2hh IDxTB who has the most enourmous head ever, has the Warmblood size, and we could barely do the noseband up on the first hole! Has stretched a bit now though.

Cheekpieces seem quite long on them though - have had to make more holes on both of mine.

Do make sure you get the Nubuck reins - best thing since sliced bread!
