I recently got a gorgeous Albion bridle, to match my saddle, (off ebay so I can't send it back) thing is the noseband is just too small it's OK in the length but I can't get it done up around the nose. I assume I will need an XF noseband, have looked on the internet and can't seem to find anywhere that do just the noseband, unless anyone out there has an havanah XF one they would like to swap for a FS one?! Failing that I will just have to re advertise the bridle back on ebay. Shame though as it fits everywhere else and is in as new condition.

can't you just get a saddler to alter that bit for a few ££s? that's what i'd do.
i might have one, is it a cavesson? what diameter noseband do you need? i have a havana sabre cavesson f/s crank noseband, a bit big for one of my girlies... it's not new though, it's a year or so old, but unmarked. pm me with the measurement you need, if you like.

Ahhh didn't think of the saddler option extending it, it's just a cavesson but the inside of the noseband is gorgeous and soft and the gutting thing is it's just a tad too small I only need about 2 more holes length on it. Will need to measure my fat nosed horse and see what size he needs! at least if I get it altered it will match the rest of the bridle and it is such lovely soft leather I don't really want to change it!
Thanks!

What I mean is I need that extra amount of leather to be able to put a couple more holes in so it fits! do I just have a deformed horse?!!!! Getting it altered would be the best as if I do get an XFS then I will be stuck with the FS one bit of a waste really!

I think I must also have a deformed horse. I ended up getting a noseband made from scratch as neither the cob nor the full size fitted my boy. The saddler made me one from scratch and it's beautiful and matches perfectly and didn't cost me much more. I'd definitely see whether your saddler can alter it.

Just got an email from them I have to contact my local authorised stockist... helpful NOT!??? Think the alteration route would be the cheapest and I won't be stuck with a noseband I don't want.

If you contact Fylde Saddlery, tell them what you want, give them measurements etc they'll make you one and it won't cost a fortune.

I too have a big nosed horse, but when i go for XF the nose band then sits too low on his face (too far down over his nose?!). I was considering going for the warmblood Full? has this option worked for anyone else?

We had this problem with both out Albion bridles, ended up buying single nosebands from EBay. Though I think TDS Saddlers in Alton do them on their own, they have an online site if that helps :)
