I got a lovely brown Albion bridle on ebay a while ago but as my horse has such a FAT head I can't get the noseband done up. It's a full size so assume I will need extra full size.

Thing is the rest of the bridle fits fine. So would it be best to either try and sell the noseband on ebay, keeping the rest of the bridle then try and buy just the noseband, (but prob would be expensive) or see if I can get a saddler to make it a bit bigger? Not sure how adjusting it would work?

Hey jen, the damn noseband for the KB costs at least 55 quid, if I were you I'd ask your local saddler to make your current noseband into a crank if it isn't already, that way they can probably add leather to the back of it and it wouldn't look obvious. My little horse has a full size and I can only get the noseband done up on the second hole, but everything else is on top hole! I had my cavesson turned into a flash, and with strap it cost me a tenner so I can't see it would cost that much to change...

Shame you need brown as I have a brand new black extra full which I replaced with a drop!

Best bet would probably to get your saddler to try and alter it- they are specific to the Albion bridle (because of the two buckles) so I cant see there being a huge market for one second hand

Plus a new one will set you back about £60!

Oh that's a bummer! This one is like new not a mark on it! if anyone wants to do a swapsie then let me know!!
Don't think I can do £60 for a noseband for gods sakes, whole bridle wasn't much more than that!

Agg - I have a black extra full too you could have had. Agree that your cheapest bet it to have a saddler adjust the back
