I've got the SLK platinum and I love it. I went for it as it's got a really flat tree which suits my WB's back. I had an SLK for 3 weeks before it was nicked, the platinum is far superior, but the SLK was also a fantastic saddle.
How tall are you? My saddler suggested that I would be better with a K2 than an SLK as the waist is narrower on the K2. I'm only 5'3" (and according to my saddler have small hips LOL!) so it made it easier for me to sit into the saddle and keep my legs in place. I have fairly big wide horses (mostly Hanoverian and Oldenburg) too so this may have exacerbated things!

That's made my day, maybe that's why I have a K2 GP, K2 Dressage & K2 Jump-I HAVE SMALL HIPS-LOL!!!

I'd say that was definately the case! LOL!
My saddler certainly made my day given that I am not exactly slim. My husband doesn't like riding in that saddle (his horse was lame so he borrowed one of mine for his lesson) perhaps his hips are too big?!!!
I love my Albion K2, I found it was the only one that offered me the right support, I was simply felt tiny in the other Albions. I can't remember which one I tried but my saddler suggested my thighs were too short for it! Similarly I'm 5ft4 on a 16.3hh so it was vital to find a saddle I felt secure in.

I'm about 5'7" and I have tried the K2 but I felt the SLK was more comfy for me and saddler said SLK is better for my horse. Xwide ID with flattish back and very deep through girth.
Also, I haven't got huge hips but they certainly aren't what you would call tiny
