Anyone have experience with Albion slk dressage saddle? What kind of seat does it have? Would it be good for Arabians?
I have slk on my warmblood. I doubt they would fit an Arab who tends to be shorter in the back and sometimes wide. Have a saddle fitter out to measure and discuss what type would suit xAnyone have experience with Albion slk dressage saddle? What kind of seat does it have? Would it be good for Arabians?
They tend to be generous in size. And yes heavy. Mine fits nearly every horse. Except my short backed mare who has a flat back.I have an old slk - super comfy but heavy and it’s a big armchair of a sadddle may be a bit long for an arab
Thank you! No fitter where I live so glad I didn’t buy it onlineI have slk on my warmblood. I doubt they would fit an Arab who tends to be shorter in the back and sometimes wide. Have a saddle fitter out to measure and discuss what type would suit x

Hi she’s currently in a medium wide tree, I was looking at a used one thanks so much.I have an SLK Ultima on my warmblood and whilst I love it, I can’t see that same saddle fitting an Arab; even with a very open head.
In my limited experience of Arabs, they tend to somewhat more involved to fit as they often don’t have much in the way of withers.
However, (prepared to be corrected) I believe Albion do offer a variety of trees if you buy from new. Best to check with a saddler if you’re unsure.
No, saddles come in different lengths. The tree shapes can also be different, some fit a horse with a flat back some are more curved. What about the saddle wouldn’t fit isn’t the length of all saddles the same
