I have to say I was sitting on the train doing my upside down reading of the guy sitting in front of me papers. They were all on why alcohol is more dangerous than drugs so it got me thinking.... His answer was to make it illegal. I realised then that if I was a heroin or cocaine addict and I did it as habitally as I drink I would have died years ago. My liver seems to be able to cope with over indulgences now and again but if that was measure for measure with cocaine or heroin I would guarentee I wouldn't be here now. Hmm - food for thought!!

Yep, but how about the devastating effect of alchohol and tobacco. For me it is the hypocracy of alcohol and tobacco being legal that is the problem.

Yes i see the alcohol and tobacco problem, is huge but that is more due to the fact it is legal and available to everyone.
