Does anyone know of this dealer and whether they are any good? My friend is (still) looking for a pony for her daughter and they may consider going at looking at one there

I went to look at some of their horses a few years ago and wasn't very impressed by their condition, or the price they wanted for them.

My friend bought two ponies from there. One was a headshaker and the other is totally fab and she still has him. Pot luck I guess.

If they do like any of their ponies then definitely recommend getting them five star vetted, inc blood tests

The only horse they had in that was half suitable for me (they'd told me on the phone that they had lots that would suit me) was a 15.2hh chestnut gelding, that they claimed was a hunter. He was older than they claimed, terrible conformation, and lame when I visited so I couldn't have tried him even if he was what I'd wanted

I think they wanted 2.5k for him

i have heard good and bad prob just like alot of dealers (not all of them ) and i think they are quite expensive for what they have.
I would stick to people selling private and try and get someone honest and just wants the best home for the pony.
I know its hard but there the best type.
Good Luck

If u do think of looking at any more dealers in the area PM me first, i dont want to post there name on here but i know of a very very very dodgy place u need to stay away from.

This is a friend who is looking for a pony, its not me. I have told them not to bother with dealers really but its getting very very hard to find the right pony for them.

if someone has a genuine childs pony they are unlikely to put it through a dealer because they are like gold dust and sell easily

I know of someone who bought from them, horse wasn't suitable and they took it back no quibbles - they do have a warranty, I think it was 2 weeks. I've been there and it was ok. As other have said a bit on the pricey side.
