Aldi equestrian

In the Aldi magazine thing this week it says the equestrian wear is on sale the 8th October.
Nothing on the website yet, so hoping they do rugs again.

I have 3 pairs of jods from there which I got about 2 years ago, with constant use, and they are still going strong.

I second the jods being good. Bought a pair a few years ago, they are well made and comfortable.

We don't like their headcollars though.

Never seen their rugs, will keep a lookout for those.

Jods are the comfiest I've found in years. I had to throw the first pair I bought out a couple of weeks ago as they had a hole in a place where you don't want a hole but that was after about 4 years of extreme wear. I'll definitely be buying more. Their Hi-viz stuff is great too and I bought a lovely hat (which I wear for non-horsey stuff) last year. Might get another if they have a different colour. For £1.99 you can't leave it there!

I've got polos, sweatshirts, a hoodie a gilet and a jacket - all look as good after numerous times of wearing and washing as when they were new. It's a bit like a jumble sale here though by the time everyone and their family have rooted through them all!

It is worth knowing that you can order a lot of it online before it hits the shops... keep an eye on their website. Last time I ordered what I needed beforehand, as our local one gets raided within the first few minutes of opening

You can preorder on line before the stock hits the shops , free delivery too . It's the only way I can buy the stuff , you'd think it was being given away at our local stores!!

Will keep an eye out for the waterproof jods - they sound great! I have a fantastic reversible gilet of theirs - one side is hi viz, the other is a padded navy blue. So useful for spring/autumn when you need a bit of warmth but not a full on coat. The hi viz is lasting really well too - still very reflective.

Don't forget their cycling range too - it's a great source of stylish hi viz - my £5 Aldi hi viz cycling rain legs are on my top 5 horse best buys.

I've literally just ordered some of their winter cycling gloves which are fantastic for yard jobs - waterproof and warm and last pair has lasted two years of heavy daily use. I've ordered two pairs for me and another for a friend.

Same , although I was a little disappointed at the goods on offer at Hoys last year . Not as many bargains as the previous year .

They look really good but there is no indication of what the sizes mean? Might have to look in our local store

Yes true to size ! picture me wriggling a pair on in my car to test the sizing while rush hour cars passing LOL
