I found the sizing on the jods standard to generous.

I'm away for work that week and don't get back till friday. Just have to hope the Tottenham branch still has some left. It's a bit inner city for horsey people so I could be lucky

Their cycling gear is EXCELLENT. Padded shorts are more than comfy enough for a days cycling and cost a fraction of the ones in the specialist shops.

I bought the waterproof breathable running trousers to wear over my jods to keep me dry and 4 light up flashing armbands for riding and dog walking.

I'm wondering if I'll have time to get there before my dressage on Sat. I'm doing a breast cancer charity dressage competition and have to wear something pink. I don't do pink, but I'd pay £12 for a pair of pink jods for the occasion!

Wondering why the jods are "winter" ones as they arent fleece lined or anything... At £12 though I'll be going in on Monday to get a couple of pairs... Their funnel neck tops look nice too...

If they're the same as they were this time last year, they're just normal thickness jods. In fact, they're thinner than a pair I got from Robinsons which weren't labelled as winter wear. Doesn't really bother me though - pair of thick tights underneath and they're fine.

Don't bother as it only comes out on Sunday. And there are no pink jods.

Veering slightly off topic does anyone know if they ever do any specials on ski gear?? Going for my first ever ski holiday in January so obviously don't want to spend a bomb on stuff which I might never use again if I don't like it

Yes, generally the first half of December. Remember it's multiple layers you need. The merino base layer items are worth the extra - especially in January.

Some of the gloves are very good value and don't forget about a helmet - nearly everyone wears one now.

Have you had any lessons? Where are you going?

TK Maxx also worth trying for ski stuff. Got a £300 jacket for £35 last year but the more basic stuff there is good too. If you're not too fussy on colours it's great.

Anyone have problems with the last lot? I bought a pair a few months ago and the popper broke straight away! Xx

Not the last lot but the ones before (plain navy blue jods). The popper fell off mine within a very short space of time. The other pairs I have from previous lots (two tone brown & grey/black) are still going strong so I'm assuming it might have just been a dodgy pair.

Just sing a few renditions "Oh happy days" while wriggling the jods on, your sure to blend in LOL x

^ love it !!!!! I have images now of this

The newest batch I bought (navy and fluorescent pink ones) the poppers came off both pairs, luckily I have a popper tool, so replaced in seconds and other than that they have been as good as the last lot. I a, hoping they do the black and grey ones again s I bought a pair of them about 3 years ago now and they too are still going strong, despite having sheared loads of sheep in them etc. the lanolin in sheep fleece wrecks stitching but these are still good to wear every week.

It happened to mine to. TBH for 12 quid I wasn't too miffed.
