Aldi riding wear, any good?

Does nobody else refuse to buy horsey gear from non horsey shops?

I support my local, small tack shop - I get specialised advice, fittings and decent products.
I refuse to feed the supermarkets that have crippled our farming industries and are now trying to branch out into equestrianism, golf, swimming etc.

So do I most of the time, however I don't see any problem with spreading my money around and I know that those socks will be a great Christmas stocking filler for friends and haven't seen a reversible gilet elsewhere. I will therefore drive the 11 miles to my nearest Aldi on Sunday vs. 15 miles to my nearest tack shop.

The Aldi socks last longer than any other socks I buy from elsewhere, I use them to jog and ride in! Going to get a hoodie too for winter jogging.

The jods are good and long as I'm tall although I'm a 16 and have to wear a belt with them as they are a bit loose and tend to fall down as you walk, lol.
