Aldon is nice although never actually done it!!! Spring Hill was trying to go against its "1st timer" quote this year, with SJ causing much problems and the xc even more!!!! Don't know what they'll do this year!!! Never been to Tweseldown as too far, but heard loads of good things about it!!! Good luck anyways

I did Aldon intermediate in 2006 as my first intermediate for about 4 years. It was very nice, with a lot of plain fences, and only one tough combination - a corner you had to angle (in the direction which encourages you to run off!) two strides to an angled pheasant feeder. But there was an alternative - to jump them separately and circle so you could jump the corner straight.

Did Tweseldown intermediate in October last year - very strong show jumping (only 1/2 clears per section) and the cross-country is certainly stronger than Aldon - the pros were reported as saying it's a softish intermediate but a lot of it is the same as when they had the CCI** there in 2006 - admittedly it was a soft CCI**, but that makes for a strong intermediate I would say! Included a sunken road with a skinny on a turn coming out, 2 stride double of corners, coffin with skinny on a turn coming out and two wide angled houses.

I would go for Aldon.
