dressage, Squeak lived up to his name, coming out bucking and Squeaking.. he proceeded to pull my arms out for the fastest time of the day in the dressage (it is against the clock isn't it?) for a score of 40, which is useless, but expected!!!

SJing, he was very green, but he jumped a nice clear round

.. coming into one fence he went left right left right left right before he decided to jump it! (little sod).

XC, was causing more problems than maybe it should have!! I very much doubt any of you will witness this again, but i saw WFP have a stop at the first fence on something

, and then proceed to 'ride a finish' in to almost every other fence on the course.. it did make me chuckle!!
Anyway, Squeak gave me a fab feel, he has grown up so much, he did whip round twice, but in the past when he has decided to nap at something, we usually get no further, but this time i circled away, and poped it easily second time!!

He is in the bad books tho!!! he kicked Ernie!

HUGE thanks to Lec for turning up at the right time with an ice bandage, hopefully all will be fine for tomorrow! (i rode him after, and he didn't feel it at all)

Also, i have another little claim to fame.. I have a mention in the gossip coloum in Eventing mag!! haha (not sure how they found out/how it got there tho)

HAHA i thought you would like to know about your claim to fame. Now we've both been in that column.

BTW, err was it your phone that went down or mine?

I am pleased Squeak excelled himself in the jumping phases, even tho he did have a quick 2nd look at fence 3.

Did you get any pics?

BTW, horse ended up retiring, shame as it would have won on its dressage.

Am sure Ernie will be fine tomorrow, as i said, i worked him afterwards, and he was fine!

As for Squeak, i know the xc result doesn't sound like much, but i'm really pleased with it.. one day when he 'gets it' i think he'll be lovely, but untill then, i think there'll be a few blips along the way!
As for the dressage, no comment!!!

yep, it was PN.. no, nothing different, infact i would have said it was a nice simple first time PN... the 3rd fence was narrow (not quite a skinny) painted white, and pointing into space, Squeak took one look at it and turned the other way before he even got to within 10 strides of it

Hehe naughty Squeeky!! Shame about the two blips, sure it'll be no time before you've ironed them out.
Poor Ernie, hope he's ok...
What was WFP riding?
