Whilst others are gushing about their 4 year olds I thought I would too.
Alee has been back in work since being turned away for 4 weeks now and is coming on in leaps and bounds.
She is now hacking out, a friend of mine is riding her, its my turn on Sunday.
She is working well in the school and is grasping the basics. We had our first proper lesson yesterday and she was a star and we even started putting a few lateral steps in and she picked it up in seconds.
My aims before the next lesson (in 2 weeks) are to get her trot more forwards, she can be very lazy, and to even maybe get her forwards enough to get a canter stride or 2!!! and to work on those lateral steps that we taught her.
We are aiming ourselves to a weekend training camp at the end of august which my intructor is adamant we will be ready for.
I am so proud of her and actually without sounding big headed of me aswell. When I bought her I never in a million years thought that I would be backing her and riding her at this stage, I had every intention of sending her away this summer!!!!
