Has any one had any experience of using Alfa A oil? I have just changed my 17 year old on to it and am feeding it with Baileys n.4 and Naf oilovite. He is in perfect condition at the momnet and dont want him to loose any weight! I have previously fed Balanced show mix and n.4 through the winter but this has been hard to get hold of so thought l would try the Alfa A oil instead! He seems to enjoy it! Anybody had any experinece of using it? Does it keep weight on well? Thankyou!!

Have just started using it on a horse that was loosing condition.

He loves it - will tell you in a week or so what it's doing for him, as it's too soon to say yet.

Ive been feeding Alfa Oil since December, as well as TS CoolCondition cubes & Speedibeet to my Poor doer. He's put loads of condition on & is looking dare i say it quite well & acting like a loon so obviously feels well.

Im staying with it as it seems to last for ages as well compared to Winergy Equilibrium which i switched from to Alfa Oil. I feed by eye so i vary the amounts, i also have a Good Doer on it & all he gets is a handfull to put his supplements in.

I use it on my TB, he looks amazing on it hasn't lost any condition this winter and is so shiny people stop me out on hacks!

I have been using it for 2 weeks on a horse I bought last month that looked like a skeleton (ish) I used Alfa A original for the 1st 2 weeks with soya oil but found it quite expensive.
He is a 16.3 warmblood and has it one stubbs scoop of alfa a oil, half a scoop of Baileys no 17 and one of speedibeet twice a day with another scoop of Alafa a oil after evening ride (only 30mis walk a day at mo)....he looks like a different horse and is super shiney!!!

Its great stuff, puts condition on without the fizz so if you horse is in medium work and requires more energy it wil go nicely with the baileys no.4 as that's around 25% starch.

I use this for all this for all ours every winter. They all do really well on it. I tailor anything else they have depending on what work they are doing. Our vet complimented me on the condition of ours last week so it must be doing them some good.

I switched to it about 3 months ago when my lad was losing condition. Now he is fed a fibre based diet of Ride & Relax, Alfa A Oil and Speedi Beet he is thriving, looks healthy and shiny and fab. I can't recommend Alfa A Oil enough.

Agree with the above, my horses feed is made of a majority of Alfa Oil. He gets 4 scoops in total a day, and looks and feels great on it. He gets in a day 4 scoops of Alfa oil, 2 scoops of Power and performance, 3/4 scoop (unsoaked) speedi beet and looks absolutely spot on

Thankyou to all of you for the replies we are on day 3 and he seems to be eating it ok! He dosent lick the bucket out completly but l think that maybe because it is so fibre based he is porabaly feeling quite full and getting enough! fingers crossed!

I started fedding it to my WB show jumper but it made him really hyper so i stopped feeding it and went back to Hi-fi original and he is a bit better now. It did help keep condition on though..
