Wanting a bit of advice as seems to have done the trick... But could be my hopeful imagination.
Horse displays ulcer like symptoms, treated with course of gastroguard in January. Want more "energy" in him as he is a laid back character to school.
Bought Alfa a oil to feed as well as sugar beet. And give him a large handful before riding to help with stomach acid splash.
Question: is Alfa a oil good for ulcers? Guessing it is as its high in fibre and oil.
And does it do the job of providing "energy" as not wanting to feed competition mixes or anything cereal based due to ulcer symptoms
