Had my lad on baileys low cal about 2 yrs ago he did well but have been advised to try the dengie alfa balancer for a bit of a boost this winter after being slightly anemic, feed along side hi and alfabeet. My horse is a good doer and do need to watch his weight so thought the low cal would be better. Dont know anything about the alfa balancer. Any opinions welcome! Thanks.

[/ QUOTE ] Who gave you this advice and did you ask them why they thought it was better for your horse than the Lo Cal?

Dengie suggested it as my horses feed regime has completley changed now, just wondered what others thought thats all

I would ring them back and ask them exactly why they feel it would be better than the Lo Cal and what it has in it that the Lo Cal doesn't. (When I last looked they didn't have the full list of ingredients for the Dengie balancers on the website).
