For those of you who wanted to see him - here is the cow pony in all his glory! He won't set the world alight and Valegro has nothing to fear, but he is fun and enjoying himself and we are going to prove that Trotters and trotter crosses are a versatile turn the hoof to anything breed! So Interesting conformation aside - here he is!

Still very much a work in progress but he will get there and we are taking our time, playing at a few intro's to start with, the hardest bit is getting him to stretch as you can see in the pics!

Lovely, thanks for sharing!

My trotter just won his first novice BD -- our canter is still a work in progress, but his other paces more than make up for it and his obedience is impeccable. When I acquired him, I was shown a video of him being hammered up a duel carriageway, aged 2 years. Ugh! Many years, X-rays and TLC later, he is a smashing horse. Rebacked him last year as a 6yo as he needed a lot of time off to even start to think like a "normal" horse!

He's got trotter in him alright! when you see him trot right out there is no doubt, the chunkiness probably comes from native blood, he looks chunkier than he is in the pics, once his leg hair comes off you can see that they are much finer than they look. Plus the god awful conformation!! Poor boy;)

Wow, I love a happy ending. Pictures please!
